On August 1, 2017, the Los Angeles County Office of Education held a hearing regarding the Soliel Academy Charter Petition. The Lynwood Teachers Association was represented along with members of the LUSD administration. LTA Treasurer Arthur Williams read for the record, from LTA’s official letter to LACOE, LTA’s Key Grounds 1, 3, and 4. LTA Secretary Rose Witucki also read for the record her statement from the perspective of an elementary educator. LACOE Report: Soleil Academy
LTA is hosting Canvassing Events across multiple school sites in order to connect Lynwood schools with the community and have conversations with community members about our schools, programs, and services.
